Magicbox announces prime time TV campaign for its collectible brands

Published on: 18th November 2022

Magicbox is ramping up its marketing campaign in the final weeks of the year for collectible brands KookyLoos, SuperThings and T-Racers.

Prime time TV and inventive social campaigns will be at the forefront of activity to support retailers right through until Christmas.

Spearheading the drive will be a TV campaign for all three brands which, in addition to the expected children’s TVRS, will be targeting family viewing with ITV and ITV2. This will include sought after spots during I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! and game shows such as In For a Penny and All-Star Family Fortunes.

Adding to the broadcast activity, the team also has separate socials drives for each brand to be hosted on their respective social channels. A SuperThings Secret Santa campaign will be joined by the T-Racers Quizmas, while filming takes place this weekend of an innovative Kooky Advent Calendar Countdown which is set to be fully revealed on December1st.

UK head of marketing, Suzie Howes, commented: “It has been heavily reported that sales are just starting to rise across the whole industry after a slow start to the season. We want to ensure that our brands are top of mind not just with children but with the actual gift buyers: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and more. What better way than to reach them during the prime family viewing times of the weekend.”

Suzie added: “We are taking our marketing right through to the end of year. But we won’t rest there as plans are already being created for even more marketing initiatives for spring.”
