Manhattan Toy and Edtoy partner up

Published on: 2nd March 2012

Manhattan Toy has announced its partnership with Edtoy and will be releasing a range of wooden toys.

Edtoy is a collection of wooden building and construction toys designed for creative and developmental play.

The initial collection will include eight vehicles, four dinosaurs and two building sets that are made from high-quality beech wood.  Each toy has a multi-facetted “Rotating Magnet Technology” connection feature and a magnetized design.

“EDTOY products feature a patented Rotating Magnet Technology connection system that is unique from any other building and construction sets currently available,” said Erica Roberts, vice president of Manhattan Toy Europe.  “This technology uses rotating magnets that enable the blocks to securely connect together regardless of the polarity of the magnets. The magnets also emit an audible clicking sound when the blocks are rotated, adding to the overall play value of the sets.”
