Meccanoid entertains on the Paul O’Grady Show

Published on: 29th May 2015

Meccano’s new personal robot Meccanoid G15 KS appeared on the Paul O’Grady Show last night.

Meccanoid_G15KS_02Meccanoid showed his versatility as an entertainer as he danced to guest Olly Murs’ latest song.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood was another guest on the show and scored Meccanoid two points – for being “wooden”. Meccanoid also told one of his pre-programmed jokes and high-fived Olly in front of the audience.

Meccanoid says thousands of phrases, tells jokes, offers facts, plays games, initiates conversations and even shakes your hand. He is built from hundreds of polycarbonate Meccano pieces, which are also compatible with metal Meccano. Builders can also use their imagination to create alternate builds.

Meccanoid G15KS will available from August.

You can see Meccanoid on the show here (in part three).
