Saturday 9th March will bring an in-store launch event with a real-life Barbie posing for photos and signing autographs with Barbie fans by the Mega Bloks Barbie product display. An exclusive promotion will support the event allowing girls to take home a free Mini Fashion Figure if they purchase any other Mega Bloks Barbie Product.

From the Fashion Boutique, complete with clothes and accessories, to the Luxury Mansion with eight rooms, Mega Bloks Barbie lets girls build, design and decorate again and again. Every set comes with a different Mega Bloks Barbie mini-fashion figure. There are 19 mini-fashion figures to collect and each one can be dressed and styled to create dozens of looks.

Danielle Cook, key account manager for Hamleys at Mega Brands, said: “Mega Bloks Barbie is one of the biggest launches for Mega Brands in 2013, and we’re really looking forward to the official reveal at Hamleys. We are confident that the in-store presence, including the real-life Barbie event, will help mark the launch in an interactive and engaging way for Barbie fans.”

Pete Fuller, Mega Brands European marketing manager, added: “Bringing Barbie to life in Hamleys is key to reflecting what the new range is all about, and we want to show fans that a whole new buildable world of Barbie is available to them. Each product encourages building and role-play for girls as they grow and develop from the age of four.”
