Mega Brands launches new parent-focused website

Mega Brands has unveiled its new microsite for parents, which brings to life the company’s experience in child development and construction play patterns.Mega-Bloks-Parents300

Now live, the microsite contains three key areas:

  • Growing up with Mega Bloks: The Growing Up with Mega Bloks section features a toy guide split by age which highlights the key developmental benefits of Mega Bloks toys, as well as the milestones that these products help children attain throughout the years.
  • Articles: Developmental psychologist and child play expert Dr Maureen O’Brien helps parents uncover the hidden benefits of learning through play.
  • Activities: This section features educational games and building activities that help children get the most out of playtime. Parents can click through to this section for instructions on how to build a gift, a reindeer, a candy cane and more out of Mega Bloks.

Andrew Sparkes, pre-school and girls products for Mega Brands, said: “Our new microsite is the perfect tool to help teach parents about the different benefits of building with Mega Bloks, along with lots of activities for them to enjoy with their children. Parents with children from ages one to eight years will really appreciate the expert insight offered within our ‘articles’ section as well as the diversity in our product offering while shopping for the next construction set.”
