Anne will lead all content development, production and distribution as part of her new role.

MGA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Anne Parducci to the newly created role of chief content officer, reporting to Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGAE.

In this new role, Anne is responsible for developing content for MGAE’s brands including the No. 1 toy property globally, L.O.L. Surprise!, across multiple platforms and digital channels. Anne will oversee the MGAE Studios division, the in-house creative team and will manage MGAE’s ongoing interest in content distribution.

“Great storytelling is at the heart of a brand’s success – it’s the conduit between making a connection with the consumer versus a one-time transaction,” said Isaac Larian. “Anne’s expertise and experience in this area will be instrumental to growing and strengthening the foundation and preparing all MGAE brands for the next level of story creation.”

Anne has over 25 years of executive experience in the toy and entertainment industries. Most recently she was on the board of directors for Build-a-Bear Workshop, where she supported brand and content development. From 2004 – 2016 she held executive roles at Lionsgate including executive vice president, marketing and general manager, Family Entertainment. She was responsible for leading brand management, digital marketing, creative services, and publicity for the Home Entertainment Division, including physical media and digital media on sell-through, OTT and VOD platforms, driving more home entertainment revenue per box office dollar than any other studio annually since 2005. Further, she built the children’s non-theatrical business to leading market share through acquisition, distribution, and original production from companies such as HIT Entertainment, American Greetings, Scholastic, Leapfrog, MGA Entertainment, Marvel and more. Prior to Lionsgate, she held various executive positions at Mattel (1989-2003), including senior vice president business development and senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Girls Division.

Anne commented: “I am thrilled to join Isaac and his incredibly talented and creative team to further build the presence of MGA brands on screens everywhere, and partner with the best resources to create and distribute engaging content for families to enjoy.”
