MGA Entertainment enjoys Toy of The Year success

L.O.L Surprise! was awarded the coveted 2018 Toy of the Year award at Tuesday’s award ceremony.

At this year’s Toy Industry Awards MGA Entertainment (MGAE) took home three prestigious honours including Toy of the Year for the No. 1 toy brand L.O.L. Surprise!.

As well as being named Toy of The Year, L.O.L Surprise! also won Collectible Range of The Year for the L.O.L Surprise! Under Wraps series, whilst Poopsie Slime Surprise took home Doll of The Year.

Andrew Laughton, managing director at MGA Entertainment UK, commented: “We saw huge success for MGA Entertainment last year. Not only did we succeed with launching the next biggest craze with Poopsie Slime Surprise, we maintained a best-selling position with the No. 1 brand, L.O.L Surprise, and achieved three places in the Dream Toys Top 12. MGAE is the No. 2 toy company in the UK and continues to lead the way in creating innovative toys for the YouTube generation. We are delighted to take home three coveted awards and look forward to the launch of many new brands and innovations for 2019.”

MGA Entertainment continues to develop its product offering for retailers and fans with new Poopsie characters and the launch of the L.O.L Surprise Makeover series. In addition, the company has several big surprises in the pipeline, which will be supported by PR and digital, across social media, influencer activity and UK-based events.
