Milkshake presenter Amy Thompson joins Bush Baby World

Amy has been signed up to record the theme tune to new animated series Bush Baby World.

Milkshake presenter Amy ThompsonCo-produced by Brands With Influence and Golden Bear, the Bush Baby World webisodes are set for release in June and will centre around the Bush Babies and their friends in photo realistic CGI. Based around core values such as team work and friendship, the series follows the adventures of the Bush Babies as they work to protect and nourish the Dream Tree, the source of all dreams for children everywhere.

Amy joins a strong line up of talent involved in the series, which includes established children’s writer Miranda Larson (who has previously written for Disney, Nickelodeon and CBeebies), and the award winning Birmingham based studio Character Shop (who also produced the CBeebies favourite Woolly and Tig). Amy will also voicing one of the Bush Baby characters in the animated series.

Barry Hughes, managing director of Golden Bear, commented: “We’re thrilled to have Amy on board singing the ‘Dreams Come True’ song and as the voice of Lady Lexi in the animated series. The theme tune – like the brand – is very fun and upbeat which Amy captures perfectly. Excitement around the Bush Baby World brand is building as we approach the launch so we’re looking forward to the webisodes going live in June and the toys hitting the shelves shortly after.”

As well as co-producing the new series, Golden Bear is also releasing the first range of Bush Baby World toys and accessories in autumn 2017, which includes Bush Baby plush, Sleepy Pods, and the Enchanting Dream Tree playset. The launch will be supported by a Bush Baby World website, which also goes live in June, as well as a heavyweight PR, retail and marketing campaign including TV advertising and digital activation.
