On the eve of the first Moshi Monsters movie hitting the big screen in cinemas across the country this Christmas, the new ‘make your own movie’ kit hopes to inspire movie makers and encourage kids to be more creative. Using Moshi Movies, children can exercise their creative skills and make their own Moshi Monsters personal movie. The all-in-one kit includes the Hue HD camera, easy-to-use stop motion animation software, features and backdrops. The software can also be purchased on its own.

Darran Garnham, chief business development officer at Mind Candy, said: “We are very excited to announce the launch of Moshi Movies. Stop-motion animation is a great way for kids to start learning about movie making.”

John Winwood, chairman and founder of Hue Animation, added: “We are delighted to be embarking on a new partnership with Mind Candy. Stop-motion animation is a technique that is being used widely in schools right across the curriculum, so it’s fun but also educational. The process encourages children to work together, imagine story lines, write scripts, design stages and create characters.”
