Mookie Toys has secured the licensing deal for the master toy and plush toys from the animated show The Hive.

Having acquired the deal, Mookie has announced that it plans to have characters Buzzbee and Rubee as the first in the range from August.

August will also see the company launch the new range of plush toys into the market in various sizes. This includes 5” plush minis, with Buzzbee, Rubee, Feathers & Fluff and Worm, and 6.5” plush characters, Buzzbee, Rubee, Postman Spider and Barnabee. Furthermore, September will see the launch of the 8” electronic plush Buzzbee, and in 2013 Mookie will launch the 15” Supersize Buzzbee. A selection of plush merchandise is also planned to be available at retail in the run up to Christmas.

Guy Orr, Mookie Toys, said: “We have tracked the brand from quite a long way out and seen the fantastic launch ratings grow and grow. We are thrilled to have the beautiful range of characters on board for Plush, and very excited that Buzzbee and Rubee will be the first of our range.”
