Mookie’s national account manager Terry Aarons has announced that, at the age of 73, he is to retire.Terry300

With 57 years in the toys trade, his career saw him head up sales teams at Alltrades, Cowan De Groot, Titan Toys and finally Mookie Toys.

At a farewell lunch in his honour, Mookie Orr, managing director of Mookie Toys, praised Terry’s help in putting Mookie himself on the road to success.

Mookie said: “Terry could sell ice cream to Eskimos, he will without doubt be missed by his fellow sales men who could always rely on his ‘pearls of wisdom’ when any customer problems arose, not least his comical anecdotes to accompany them.”

Mookie Toys said that Terry will be missed by many in the trade, and wishes him all the best in the future.
