Moonlite celebrates World Book Day with new stories

Published on: 6th March 2019

Story reels including children’s favourites Goose, The Princess and the Pea and Three Little Pigs join the Moonlite collection.

In celebration of World Book Day, Moonlite, the innovative storybook projector for mobile phones, has introduced a number of engaging new titles to its portfolio. Offering a modern twist on traditional reading, Moonlite creates an immersive storytelling event that fuels a child’s imagination like no other.

Goose, the heart-warming and popular debut from author-illustrator Laura Wall, introduces fans to Sophie and her new friend, Goose. Sophie loves to dress up and play with her dolls and swing on the swings, but she wishes she had a friend to join in the fun. Then one day Sophie meets Goose, and the two become fast friends. But when it’s time for Goose to fly away, Sophie tries to make him stay. With simple, bold, and colourful illustrations, this sweet story about an unusual and heart-warming friendship will delight young readers again and again.

Laura Wall commented: “I am delighted to partner with Moonlite to launch the Goose story reel this Spring. Moonlite offers a truly unique storytelling experience and the colourful, engaging and fun story of Goose lends itself perfectly to this magical new way of enjoying books. I know Goose and Moonlite fans alike are going to love seeing the adventures of Goose and Sophie come to life on their bedroom wall.”

Other classic stories available as Moonlite story reels include The Princess and the Pea, The Little Prince, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, and from the iconic Mr Men & Little Miss books, the story of Mr Strong and Little Miss Princess.

In addition, the Moonlite Starter Set features Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Very Busy Spider, while the two Moonlite Gift Sets feature Fairy Tales, and Mr Men and Little Miss.
