Strong pre-sales indicate pent-up demand for the iconic Battle Bus from the hit game.
The Battle Bus is the most important vehicle in the game and the centerpiece of Moose Toys’ Fortnite Battle Royale Collection for the holiday season. The bus complements a range of authentic play sets, vehicles and 2″ mini action figures that bring Fortnite to life.
The 13″ Battle Bus play set features the famous hot air balloon and comes with two exclusive characters, Burnout and Funk Ops. Fans can display their favourite squad on top of the collectible-quality replica Battle Bus, which has space to store an additional 15 mini figures inside.
“The Fortnite Battle Royale Collection is already the bestselling licensed brand in the action figure collectibles category,” said Joe Smith, global marketing director, Moose Toys. “The introduction of the long-awaited Battle Bus is highly anticipated by Fortnite fans, and with strong pre-sales and major support from retailers, it is expected to be one of the hottest toys in the industry this year.”
As well as the Battle Bus, the Fortnite Battle Royale Collection includes the following:
• The Mega Fort play set (MSRP £29.99), which lets fans build a fortress, blockade or barrier and use the Mega Fort playset’s exclusive figures, Tricera Ops and Blue Squire, to defend the build.
• The ATK (All Terrain Kart) (MSRP £14.99), a fan favourite vehicle which can be loaded with a whole squad, including an exclusive Drift figure.
• Solo, Duo and Squad Pack Figure Assortments (MSRP £4.99-£14.99) expand the Battle Royale Collection with 25 new figures including Beef Boss, Wukong and the limited-edition Mullet Marauder.
• The X-4 Stormwing Dlx Plane (MSRP £29.99), which launches in October. Kids can squad up and control the skies with this plane, which holds up to seven Battle Royale Collection figures, including an exclusive Ice King figure.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Collection is available now at online and retail locations nationwide. By the end of the year, the line will include 100 mini action figures from the hit game, allowing fans to fully build out the world of Fortnite.
