Multiple UK publishing deals secured for Tickety Toc

Published on: 14th November 2012

Following the launch of Tickety Toc on Milkshake! last week, Zodiak Kids has announced the appointment of UK publishing partners for the property.

Igloo Books is set to launch a range of publishing products in the UK and Eire from Q4 2013. The range of books includes board books, paperbacks, pop-up books, colouring books, and sticker and activity books.

Century Books has also come on board as Tickety Toc’s partner for annuals, while Immediate Media and Redan will include the property in their compilation magazines; Immediate’s Sunshine and I Love… from early 2013, and Redan’s Fun to Learn Friends and Fun to Learn Favourites from this month.

These new deals follow recent announcements of UK (Vivid Imaginations) and US Master Toy Partner (Just Play), US and UK DVD partner (Anchor Bay Entertainment) and UK sleepwear and underwear partner (Cooneen & Miserli).

Alastair McHarrie, VP of sales, consumer products, Zodiak Kids London, said: “We’re delighted to have appointed Igloo as the master publisher for Tickety Toc – they are a fast growing and dynamic company who share our vision for making Tickety Toc a great success in the children’s publishing world.”

John Styring, managing director, Igloo Books, added: “Tickety Toc is a fabulous production which appeals equally well to both young boys and girls.  As one of the leading UK children’s publishers we very much look forward to bringing a wide range of innovative and exciting books to retail. We are very impressed with the dynamacy and passion shown by the team at Zodiak Kids and we look forward to a great partnership.”
