The toy retailing stalwart starts his new position in the buying team at BargainMax today, as the online toy retailer continues to expand.

Experienced toy buyer Neil Mitchell has joined online toy specialist retailer BargainMax in the role of senior buyer. Neil, who is well-known to the toy community through previous roles at Very and most recently Home Bargains, takes up his new position as from today. He can be contacted on neil@bargainmax.co.uk.

Newly-appointed BargainMax CEO, Alex Woolfstein, told Toy World: “We are delighted that Neil has decided to join our team. Our continued drive to expand our range of product to fuel growth showed a need to also expand our team. Neil will work alongside Emma Carden in our buying team, alongside a second new recruit Amelia as an assistant buyer. We are really excited to see what our growing team can achieve in 2023. With the backing of a new website set to launch in February and the full transition to our new distribution centre in Ellesmere Port due to be completed in March, we can see 2023 being a very exciting year for BargainMax.co.uk.”

The PLP Ellesmere Port centre will provide the company with the logistical infrastructure to support its continued growth as well as driving improved efficiency. The facility is a sustainable, new-build warehouse, constructed to BREEAM Excellent standard, and located at a popular hub for fulfilment centres.
