This is alongside established favourites including Something Special, Charlie & Lola and Walking With Dinosaurs.

BBC Worldwide UK joined up with Golden Bear Toys earlier this year to be its master toy partner on a new range of CBeebies toys launching in Autumn/Winter 2014. CBeebies is already a multi award-winning brand that extends across television, magazines, live events, books, music, a website, apps and a new themed area at Alton Towers opening Spring 2014. The first CBeebies toy range consists of eight collectable small plush toys, each with giggling sounds when squeezed and a feature plush that plays a lullaby and softly glows in different colours.

The Sarah & Duck plush toys from Posh Paws will also make their debut at Toy Fair. The range includes a small talking Sarah who says “Come on duck,” and a small Duck which quacks. A larger version of Duck will also be available when the range goes on sale in early 2014. The toys will be launched to coincide with the release of the Penguin Book range, BBC DVD and a CBeebies Special Magazine from Immediate Media launching in the Spring.

The Something Special toy range from Golden Bear adds new lines in 2014. Toys include Mr Tumble – Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, and Mr Tumble’s Musical Playmat. The playmat also helps with colour recognition and stimulates senses through sound. Licensee KD UK is also due to add new lines to its Something Special range in 2014.

A new Chatterbox Lola doll is the latest addition to the Charlie & Lola product range. From Rainbow Designs comes Chatterbox Lola.

To coincide with the global release of Walking With Dinosaurs The 3D movie in December, a range of new product for the world-renowned Walking With Dinosaurs brand launches under the BBC Earth banner.

All BBC Worldwide UK’s licensed merchandise will be housed at its partner licensees’ stands, while the business will seek additional and new opportunities for its leading and upcoming brands including Doctor Who.
