New brands for Golden Bear

Golden Bear will be unveiling two new brands from The Bridge Direct at Toy Fair: Shoulder Buddies and Waverly and the Magic Seashells.

The agreement covers sales in the UK and Eire, which will take immediate effect.

Golden Bear’s marketing and product development director, Christine Nicholls, said: “We are excited to be adding these two brands from The Bridge Direct to our line up for Toy Fair. Shoulder Buddies is a quirky collectable range that is perfect for the playground and has already proved itself with kids in the US, whilst Waverly and the Magic Seashells encompasses many girls play patterns and has all the elements of a true break out toy line.  These brands will add a new aspect to our portfolio and form a major part of the forward plans for the company in 2012 and beyond.”

Jay Foreman, president and CEO of The Bridge Direct added: “We are looking forward to partnering with Golden Bear in the launch of these new product lines in the UK and Ireland.  Both brands represent a great opportunity for retailers who will be able to offer fun and affordable toys to the consumer. What’s more, Golden Bear’s robust marketing strategy which includes a strong TV plan will ensure the launch comes with plenty of brand awareness.”

Shoulder Buddies will be launching in April and Waverly and the Magic Seashells in July.
