New brands, new agreements and a year of growth ahead for Golden Bear

Golden Bear looks forward to the year ahead with a number of deals to announce.

Pre-school-based Golden Bear Toys and the newly-formed GB Toys will see new collections unveiled in the next two weeks.

John Hales, chairman, said: “The traditional brands and our new collections have enjoyed an excellent year. For GB Toys, Go Mini was a major launch which saw the largest TV campaign in our history and presented a brand new direction for the company. This will shortly be joined by another name, one of the most prestigious in the car industry; with this new brand being presented for our Autumn/Winter 2013 previews.”

Something Special will be for general release in Autumn/Winter 2013, one of CBeebies’ leading programmes. This has already had success in the UK with a limited retailer launch. The company also has further projects planned with BBC Worldwide to be announced soon.

GB Toys will see an iconic boys’ property added to its line-up, to be announced for BLE.
