Experienced FMCG operator Stefan de Loecker takes the reins on 1st January as Engehausen leaves the company after an eight year stint.
Earlier this year, the Schleich UK operation saw the departure of its country manager Thomas Randrup and marketing manager Paul Dearlove. Now there has been another significant change at the top of the organisation, this time at the head of the parent company’s operation in Germany, where it has been announced that CEO Dirk Engehausen left the company on August 15th. A press release issued by the company suggests that after a transition period, he will join its Advisory Board.
Meanwhile, his successor has been appointed – Stefan de Loecker will take over the Schleich CEO role on 1st January 2024. Stefan has a longstanding career in the FMCG market, with companies including Nestle. His most recent role was as CEO for Beiersdorf, a company which operates in the skin care market. He also previously served as president of its emerging markets division.
