Published on: 15th January 2019

Paul Lamond Games has welcomed Paula Vernall to its UK sales team as the new account manager for London.

Paula is very familiar with the London territory and brings with her nearly 30 years of sale industry experience, all gained in the city. Her extensive sales experience includes the vending industry, where Paula worked with Cadburys and Coca-Cola, educational sales and time in the greeting card sector with Carte Blanche.

Paula already has relationships with retailers such as Fenwicks, and is looking forward to working with the London football clubs and independent retailers as well as the renowned Harrods and Hamleys.

This year will see Paul Lamond Games combine with University Games UK, creating a business with a comprehensive and innovative portfolio of games and puzzles that caters for the pre-school, family, action and adult sectors.

From 1st February, Paula and all the Paul Lamond Games sales force will not only sell the Paul Lamond catalogue of products but also the entire University Games range to independent stores. For independent retailer accounts, all orders can be placed for shipment from one facility with a single free carriage rate.

Richard Wells, who will become managing director of the new combined company from 1st April, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Paula on board as part of our dedicated direct sales team. We have a very exciting year ahead and Paula is joining the team at the perfect time; as a combined company, in 2019 we will launch more than 30 new and exciting games. It is going to be a busy few months but we are all looking forward to unveiling our entire 2019 range, and meeting with many of our retailers at Toy Fair and Spring Fair over the coming weeks.”
