New marketing appointments at the Lego Group

Rebecca Snell takes on role of vice president of marketing for Europe Central, based in Munich.

Rebecca joined the Lego Group in April 2013 as head of marketing for UK & Ireland. During her time with the company Rebecca has achieved great success having developed new strategies to drive the business to greater heights. She has built and developed a high performing marketing team that has consistently delivered outstanding performance under her leadership.

In her new capacity as VP of marketing for EUC, Rebecca will be able to utilise her extensive experience and passion for the business, making her a great addition to the EUC team.

As Rebecca moves to Munich, the UK team welcome Marius Lang as the new senior director – head of marketing for UK & Ireland.

Marius has been with the Lego Group since 2014 as director of marketing for the direct to consumer (D2C) business in EMEA. He made his mark quickly at Lego, was soon promoted to senior director and has had a major impact on the marketing agenda across D2C EMEA. Marius created and has driven a culture of innovation and high performance, evident in the results he has delivered.

Marius will report to Marina Edwards, VP & general manager of BU UK/Ireland who commented: “The UK/Ireland team will certainly miss Rebecca but her expertise and commitment make her a huge asset to the EUC team and we wish her well. We are looking forward to welcoming Marius into the UK team; he has an outstanding track record and is absolutely well placed to continue driving marketing excellence within our UK/Ireland business.”
