New Moshi Monsters mobile game reaches number one

Mind Candy announces the launch of Moshi Monsters Egg Hunt, an all-new iOS and Android mobile game.

With its strong focus on personalisation, education, and fun, this brand new mobile game rocketed straight to number one in the App Store’s 6-8 kids’ chart and is set to captivate a whole new generation of monster-loving players. With a simple but engaging gameplay and an ingenious secret code system incorporating the newly launched trading cards, it’s an irresistible adventure for Moshi fans, both old and new.

For the first time, kids can adopt their very own unique Moshling, hatching, naming and customising it from scratch. Once their monstery pet has settled into its new home, players can find and hatch new Moshling every day to build their collections and keep their pet company. They can even collect their friends’ unique Moshlings because each personalised character has its own shareable code.

Kids can play games, solve puzzles and answer questions to earn Rox, in-game currency which can be used to buy food, funny furniture, and decorations in the ‘Gross-ery’ Store.
The adventure continues with complementary physical products: Moshi Monsters Egg Hunt Trading Cards feature secret codes to unlock additional in-game goodies, characters, and more. The range consists of over 350 collectable cards, with each pack containing eight cards, including Moshlings, items and an ultra-rare shiny card.

In addition, the Moshi Monsters Egg Hunt Book, stars a unique, specially created Moshling, named after the reader, and is crammed with hidden codes to unlock characters in the mobile game. Each book also features a personalised poster and trading cards starring the reader’s unique Moshling.
