The Copyrights Group has announced the launch of new toy ranges ahead of Paddington 2.
For spring 2017, Rainbow Designs, Ravensburger, PMS International and University Games will all be launching new products. The ranges will include new movie feature plush, puzzles, colour and activity lines and games.
Rainbow Designs will launch its two new feature plush toys, Dancing Paddington and Cycling Paddington to add to the ever popular Talk to Me Paddington and My Name is Paddington feature plush range which launched in 2016. Ravensburger will also launch a 60 piece giant floor puzzle, 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle and a 4 in a box puzzle. PMS will launch a number of colouring and activity lines under its retail arm Gosh! Designs. University Games adds Paddington Spot The Difference and Paddington Colour On to its games line up, while a Paddington Board Game is also in development for an autumn/winter launch.
For summer 2017 Trunki will introduce Paddington to its iconic ride on suitcase range, while Redan will launch a standalone Paddington magazine for November just before Paddington 2 hits the big screen.
Rachel Clarke, licensing director at The Copyrights Group, commented: “We are delighted to be working with these fantastic new toy partners. Their products are a fabulous addition to the already extensive on-going Paddington merchandising programme and will be launching ahead of the hugely anticipated Paddington 2 movie in November 2017.”
