He has joined the company as general manager for Northern and Eastern Europe.
Patrick Potgiesser joins the company at a time of international expansion across key growth markets, particularly in Europe and will report directly to the president of Alpha Group, US & Europe, Jean-Christophe Pean. He will be responsible for developing Alpha Animation’s presence across the region with an initial focus on the Nordic territories. Patrick joins Alpha with a wealth of experience across the toy industry spanning more than 20 years working with the likes of Mattel, MGA Entertainment and Kids II.

Last month the company announced the appointment of Mark Hyndman to the role of general manager, UK and confirmed that it will be launching one of its key animation properties Super Wings in the UK early in 2017 with further announcements coming soon on broadcast platforms and toy partners. Since its broadcast launch, Super Wings has been a top 5 ratings winner on key children’s platforms in Italy, Spain and France.
Patrick Potgiesser joins the company as it exhibits at Nuremberg this week and will be available on the Alpha Group stand in Hall 12-04-03.
