Asmodee partners with Marella Cruises

Published on: 16th February 2018

From next month, UK guests holidaying on the Discovery, Celebration, and Dream ships will be able to play a variety of tabletop games.

Whilst visiting some of the top cruising destinations such as Central America, the Caribbean and South East Asia, families cruising on the Marella Cruises fleet will be able to enjoy some down time with a range of board games including the fast and frantic Dobble, Jungle Speed, and the hugely popular Codenames.

Families are free to pick a game at their leisure anytime during their stay on board, or take part in one of the daily sessions with Marella Cruises’ on-board entertainment staff.

Ben Hogg, marketing manager at Asmodee UK, commented: “We’re thrilled that our partnership with Marella Cruises has worked out so well on Marella Discovery 2, and excited to hear all about how the programme is received on the other three ships over the coming months. This is a really interesting way for us to reach families when they are in the perfect relaxed state to discover new ways to play and socialise with each other.”

The full list of Asmodee’s games to appear on Marella Cruises includes, Carcassonne, Codenames, Cortex Challenge, Dixit, Dobble, Jungle Speed, Rory’s Story Cubes, Splendor, Ticket to Ride Europe, and Timeline British History.
