The Eco-Excellence award is the highest rated prize for environmentally friendly toys in America.

Biobuddi has won the Eco-Excellence award in the category Nursery toys. The products of Biobuddi are made with raw materials from sugar cane plants. The Dutch toy brand has patented its raw material and can now officially prove that it contributes to a significant CO2 reduction compared to other toy manufacturers. The Eco-Excellence award is the highest rated prize for environmentally friendly toys in America.

The organisation has tested many sustainable products before nominating us for the final, which was a great honour, but we were overwhelmed with winning the prize. The toy brand Biobuddi is currently sold in 14 countries worldwide. The American toy market is still a small part of the company’s total turnover. Partly due to the award ceremony and other promotional activities, the company expects to continue a substantial turnover growth.
