Brainstorm creates bespoke POS for Natural History Museum

Published on: 10th September 2018

Brainstorm has teamed up with the London attraction to create a bespoke POS display for its The Original Glowstars Company range.

The Natural History Museum commissioned the POS for inclusion in one of its latest exhibitions, Life in the Dark, which allows visitors to enter the world of nocturnal animals both on land and under the sea. The exhibit challenges the senses in pitch black and shows families how different animals find their way around their habitats at night.

The Glowstars POS is a freestanding unit featuring glow in the dark stars and themes that act as a continuation to the exhibit, displaying the Brainstorm products to full effect within the museum setting. The 3D display comes to life under the UV lighting featured throughout the exhibition.

Craig Manley from NHM commented: “We are delighted with the bespoke POS that Brainstorm has created. Life in the Dark opened in July and will run until January 2019, and has been extremely popular with visitors already. This unique display not only sits well within the exhibit but also enables children to take something away from their visit to the Museum too.”

Brainstorm’s Louise Reynerd, who worked with the NHM team, added: “It was a pleasure to work with the team at NHM and to see the POS in situ in such a brilliant exhibition. Our Glowstars range is the perfect fit for this and we were delighted when asked to create something completely unique for Life in the Dark. We are always happy to speak with our customers about point of sales, so please get in contact with me or Debra in our marketing team to discuss.”
