British Toy and Hobby Association has published a summary of the implications of a ‘No deal’ Brexit.
The guide comprises eight sections, covering a range of topics including: importing toys after 31st March, the differences between the proposed UK regulations and the existing Toy Safety Directive, specific guidance for chemicals, identifying operator types in the UK post-Brexit, and how European legislation that may affect toys will look after Brexit.
In a statement, the BTHA commented: “This guide can only be a snapshot of what is happening as things are changing daily. It contains the key changes anticipated so that companies can try and prepare.”
