Demand for Mokuru surpasses expectations

Peterkin’s new desk toys see success, boosted by national press and social media coverage.

Mokuru is a desktop toy crafted with beech wood that allows users to improve their dexterity and hand-eye coordination by mastering tricks and skills.

Peterkin launched its UK PR campaign last week with great success. Coverage in the Sun, The Metro and the Daily Record was enhanced by blogging reviews from over 60 parenting blogs and vlogs as kids got a taste of Mokuru mastery.

Demand for the toys has been so high that Peterkin Group MD Simon Blacker (pictured) has been personally making Mokuru to meet the orders being placed.

Andrew Moulsher, managing director, commented: “We are delighted with the opening stages of our PR campaign which saw an immediate response in demand from new retailers and increased orders from our existing customers. We actually sold out and new supplies have just arrived.”
