Green Owl Toys marks 10th anniversary with hospice donation

Published on: 19th March 2019

Children at Demelza Hospice in Eltham received a solid wood, rocking motorbike, donated by Izabela Hailey of Green Owl Toys.

The donation of the 11kg wooden motorbike marked both the 10th anniversary of the Eltham Hospice, and the 10th anniversary of the Chislehurst-based business Green Owl Toys in March 2019.

Demelza Hospice is marking its 10th anniversary with a programme of events running through the week. The hospice has been decorated and a timeline installed, while celebrations, including a fun children’s party and a cake cutting, will also take place.

Izabela Hailey, Green Owl Toys, said: “We are delighted to celebrate this anniversary together with such a well-loved children’s organisation, Demelza. We hope that this is a start to something special where we can support and enrich more children’s lives together in the future.”

Amy Thomas, community fundraiser at Demelza Hospice Care for Children, added: “A huge thank you to Izabela and Green Owl Toys for donating this beautiful rocking motorbike. The children will have great fun making use of this fantastic toy.”
