HTI set to launch Micro Motorz

Published on: 23rd January 2019

HTI Group is preparing for this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair, where it will preview its new Teamsterz boys’ collectible vehicle series.

With six different surprises to discover, HTI anticipates that its new collectible range will prove popular with young boy racers. Kids can unwrap the foil exterior to reveal three chambers, plus a sticker which tells them which one of the teams their vehicle belongs to.

Kids then twist and snap off the first chamber to find a tuning tool, while chamber two reveals a tuning accessory, such as a big block engine or spoiler, plus the launching plate. The final chamber contains one of 21 vehicles from the four teams – Speed Demonz, Nitro Chargerz, Hot Rodz and Monster Treadz.

Each vehicle in the collection features customised graphics and tuning accessories which can be changed within the teams. Monster Treadz are ultra-rare ‘must-collects’ thanks to their aggressive monster truck look.

The range will be showcased at Nuremberg Toy Fair ahead of a major UK launch supported by a heavy-weight marketing and PR campaign which includes TV advertising, PR outreach, events, influencers, digital advertising and social media.

Alison Downie, global licensing and brand director, HTI Group, commented: “This is the most exciting product launch for the business yet, and follows months of hard work, investment and research into this sector. The boys’ collectible market has been relatively untapped, and having a car within our collectible captures the best loved play pattern for boys – I believe Micro Motorz is the perfect product to fuel a real playground craze. Our marketing plans are second to none; we can’t wait for everyone to see the range at Nuremberg.”
