Nickelodeon-themed Bricklive events to expand globally

Published on: 22nd November 2019

Live Company Group has expanded its agreement with Nickelodeon to hold themed Bricklive events across more countries following successful UK tours.

The AIM-listed firm will now be able to produce and exhibit Bricklive tours themed around Nickelodeon shows and characters in all countries except the US until the end of 2024.

Live Company will also retain the right to create tours associated with specific Nickelodeon properties such as Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and Top Wing in return for a royalty fee based on tour revenues. The expanded agreement follows a Bricklive show themed around Paw Patrol which was held in Blackburn over the summer period.

Meanwhile, the company also said that it has signed a new two-year contract with Marwell Zoo in Hampshire to provide Bricklive tours between April and September for 2020 and 2021. The deal follows a Bricklive Brickosaurs tour, featuring sculptures of dinosaurs, that was hosted at the zoo earlier this year. Live Company has also inked tour deals for 2020 with Knowsley Safari in the UK and the Royal Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands.

The expanded Nickelodeon deal and Bricklive Zoo programme will provide increased forward visibility, Live Company said, while also reaffirming current market expectations for 2020.

David Ciclitira, Live Company’s chairman, said the group had “a strong pipeline of events already scheduled for 2020”, and that he expected the firm’s network of global partners to “grow further” next year.
