The exclusive European retail promotion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game will see collectors’ items available at selected retailers.
Consumers who spend £19.99/€19.99 on selected Pokémon TCG products at leading retailers across England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands (with Germany and Spain to follow soon), will receive a pack of three limited-edition Ash’s Pikachu promo cards, while stocks last.
The UK retailers taking part are Game, Waterstones and Smyths, with Smyths’ Eire stores also involved. In France, Toys R Us, Picwic and King Jouet are the retail partners. Toys R Us stores are also involved in Germany, while Belgian retail partners include Maxi Toys and Broze and Fun. Intertoys is the partner for the Netherlands.
The set of six cards was created to celebrate the release of Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! last November, which tells the story of Ash and Pikachu’s first meeting and the start of their adventures together.
There’s also a chance to catch up with Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! on TV, with broadcasts confirmed in the following territories: Belgium on Kadet Saturday 31st March, UK on CITV over the Easter weekend; France on Gulli Tuesday 10th April; Netherlands on RTL7 Sunday 1st April.
