Red Knight Toy Group and History Heroes announce new partnership

Published on: 8th May 2019

Red Knight Toy Group will represent and distribute the award-winning History Heroes range of educational card games.

The new agreement with History Heroes will allow Red Knight to add an already successful range of titles to its portfolio, boosting its current educationally focused-offering  which features games such as Fletter, Doodad and Idiom Addict. Doodad and Idiom Addict have recently been snapped up by John Lewis for Q4 exclusivity.

Red Knight managing director, Rory Kelly, said: “We couldn’t be happier to have agreed to work alongside Alex and her team. I have admired History Heroes for a long time and, as a former bookseller, can understand exactly how it will have appeal to a wide market. We can’t wait to get started in bringing the fun of the range to our customers. We are especially excited that Alex will join us in our booth at the upcoming UK Games Expo.”

History Heroes has gone from strength to strength in the last few years with sets such as Explorers, Children and Women. The addition of licensed Science Museum sets such as Space and London, both new for 2019, has boosted the value of the range. The game won the Highly Commended category in Gift of the Year 2019 at the recent Spring Fair.
