Scalextric teamed up with the Premier League club for a day of racing, which was enjoyed by kids and players alike.
Three Chelsea BridgeKids got the chance to visit Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham and take on Chelsea players Antonio Rudiger and Mateo Kovacic at a Scalextric racing challenge.
Scalextric created a large and impressive layout for the BridgeKids to race the players on the day. The races were thrilling, with both players and BridgeKids getting very competitive. Each racer had a personalised slot car to match their shirt number, but, as the video on the BridgeKids website shows, there were still cheaters in the race.
The event was hosted by eSports star Wolfy and Chelsea fan Rachel Stringer, whilst the mascots Stamford and Bridget were on hand to cheer on the BridgeKids.
