Schleich Horse Club partners with the Royal Dublin Horse Show

Published on: 9th July 2019

The Horse Club collection will benefit from a fully branded area plus activities and competitions at the show’s Horseplay Hub.

Following the recent announcement of its first-ever major TV campaign for the second half of the year, Schleich UK is adding further support to its Horse Club brand with a two-year sponsorship at Europe’s largest Equestrian event, The Royal Dublin Horse Show.

Preparations are already well underway for this year’s event, which takes place from 7th–11th August. Schleich will join a raft of big-name sponsors such as Longines, Land Rover and Stena Line, and will champion the Horse Club collection at the famous show with a fully branded area and activities and competitions for families to enjoy in the show’s Horseplay Hub.

Now in its 146th year, the Royal Dublin Horse show is not only the highlight of the equestrian calendar in Ireland, but it is also one of the most iconic social events of the year, attracting over 100,000 visitors anually to the famous RDS venue. The world-class international equestrian competition and its attendees are a perfect match for the Horse Club brand, which recently added four new girl riders and the award-winning Rider Café to its rapidly expanding equestrian play world.

Paul Dearlove, marketing manager, commented: “The Dublin Horse Show provides the perfect opportunity for Schleich to engage directly with a horse-loving audience, and to further demonstrate our commitment and support for the Horse Club brand. This is a pivotal year for Horse Club; this latest sponsorship forms a key component of our marketing activities including TV advertising, Pony Magazine sponsorship, and the recent launch of our Horse Club App. During the event, Schleich will be displaying its Horse Club range with the chance to get hands-on with the product, offering great photo opportunities and much much more.”
