Smart Games introduces Colour Catch

Published on: 20th June 2019

Colour Catch is a one player compact game that will bug kids for hours.

SmartGames has launched its latest game, just in time to entertain families this summer. Colour Catch gives little ones from seven years of age the task of helping salamanders and frogs catch bugs for dinner. As part of the 48 challenges, players must place the five puzzle pieces onto the coloured game board so the animals match the colours shown in the challenge. Puzzlers will need to watch out; the animals are transparent, and their colours will change on different parts of the game board.

With four levels of difficulty from easy to expert, the single player brainteaser gets tougher as the challenges increase, stimulating kids’ concentration and keeping young minds both puzzled and engaged. Children will have to use logic and flexible thinking to carefully plan where to place their tiles and ensure the creatures don’t go hungry.

By matching the colours to catch the bugs, this game stimulates the mind, helping to develop a number of cognitive skills including logic, visual perception and planning.

Brand director for Smart Toys and Games, Karen Clarke, commented: “I am delighted to reveal our new game Colour Catch just in time for summer. Our collection of compact games is perfect for taking on your travels to keep little ones entertained on long journeys. Not only will Colour Catch keep children entertained, they will be developing essential skills too.”
