Toy Fair 2020 exhibition space is sold out

Published on: 18th October 2019

Industry showcase sells out 22,000m² of exhibitor floor space, months ahead of the much-anticipated show.

The British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA) has announced that exhibition space at Toy Fair 2020 has now completely sold out. The 67th Toy Fair takes place from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd January 2020 at Olympia, London.

Toy Fair 2020 will host more than 260 exhibiting companies, launching thousands of new toy lines across 22,000m² of floor space. Floor plans for the show can be found on the Toy Fair website. The lineup of exhibitors includes Lego, Hasbro, Bandai, Character Options, Funko, Orchard Toys, Vivid Toy Group, Halilit and Brainstorm, plus many more.

“Toy Fair is our favourite show not only in terms of business written but also because the atmosphere is always so fantastic”, said Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm. “It’s great to catch up with familiar faces within the toy industry with everyone under one roof. We make new valuable contacts year in, year out and the organisers are always accessible and on hand to help us maximise opportunities throughout the show.”

As well as the many renowned returnees to the show, there will also be 40 new companies exhibiting at Toy Fair for the very first time, including Disqualified! and Wild and Wolf.

Toy Fair will also be hosting its first Influencer Day to support the ever-growing number of content creators – from YouTube stars to bloggers – that attend the show. Taking place on Wednesday 22nd January, the Influencer Day will include exhibitor tours and new scheduled events for attendees.

Press Day will once again take place on the opening day of the show, with attending journalists setup in the press office, which will now be located in Upper West. The press office has been moved alongside the Demo Zone in stands 320 and 312 to create a new media hub.

To make reapplying easy, industry attendees from any of the past three Toy Fairs will receive a Smart Link to their existing profile, so need only check, update and submit their details to receive their 2020 show ticket. Visitors who choose not to pre-register or confirm their Smart Link will be required to prove they are a genuine trade visitor and pay a £15 entry fee on the door. Please note that there is a new policy in place for media passes this year, so reapplying is not automatic.
