Best friends Reegan and Bella from Maesteg in Wales have been crowned official toy testers for Tomy.

Reegan Davies and Bella Mills, both aged eight, beat hundreds of hopefuls to be named the ultimate all-time besties and official toy testers for Tomy. For their new role, Reegan and Bella will test the company’s vast range of products and be treated to unprecedented and exclusive access to the coolest new toys.

The children have been best friends for six years and impressed the judges with their love of toys, creativity and their abundant confidence in front of a camera. Reegan’s Mum, Lisa, put forward Reegan and Bella for the role by providing a picture CV detailing why the children were the ideal candidates for the job. They then had to prove that they were perfect for the role by filming a video of them reviewing the new Tomy Ritzy Rollerz.

Lisa said: “This experience has been fantastic and one that Reegan, Bella and I will never forget – it really is a money-can’t-buy opportunity! When they were announced as the winning pair of best friends, we couldn’t believe it; it was magical to see their faces light up and we were – and still are – over the moon. I know Reegan and Bella are very much looking forward to taking up their positions and testing the latest toys before they hit the shelves. It is a dream come true for any child.”

The winning pair’s first assignment as official toy testers will be to host a Ritzy Rollerz Vlogging Studio at Smyths toy store at Staples Corner in London on Friday 30th August, where they will be on hand to educate other children about the product and encourage fans to unleash their star potential to win special on-the-day prizes.

Reegan and Bella, along with all shortlisted best friends were treated to an exclusive toy party at Hamleys in London on Sunday 4th August, where they had the chance to receive a glitter makeover, dress up and receive a £100 toy shop voucher to spend in store.

The dream job was created to celebrate the launch of Tomy’s latest range, Ritzy Rollerz, which is a series of collectible characters suitable for children between 4-7 years old. Featuring 12 characters who are the best of friends, including; Helena Heelz, Donut Dani, Frenchy Braid and Groovy Gaby, who can all be collected and customised to fit an individual’s personality. The range also includes three playsets: Heelz on Wheelz Shoe Shop Playset with Helena Heelz; Sprinklez on Wheelz Donut Shop Playset with Donut Dani; and Dance n Dazzle Spa Playset with Tori Tada.
