Wilton Bradley signs deal with Fremantlemedia for The X Factor

Published on: December 6th, 2017

Wilton Bradley will manufacture and supply a range of karaoke microphones, machines, headphones, and speakers under licence for The X Factor in the UK.

Building on the success of its award-winning range of Mi-Mic microphone speakers, the agreement will see Wilton Bradley deliver an innovative range of branded The X Factor music products over the next three years.

Wilton Bradley will be showcasing its 2018 range of The X Factor karaoke microphones and machines at the Hong Kong, London and Nuremburg Toy Fairs 2018 in the early part of the year. The exact details of the product innovations are being kept under-wraps and will be unveiled at the trade shows.

Simon Hampton, head of sales & marketing at Wilton Bradley, commented: “Mi-Mic is about to sell out and has performed well beyond our expectations. In fact the whole karaoke microphone category has really taken off this year. So, the timing for this deal with The X Factor is perfect and I can’t imagine a better partnership in this category.”

Caroline High, senior licensing manager Hardlines, FremantleMedia, commented: “Mi-Mic is the perfect product for The X Factor, it’s innovative, musical and very entertaining. Now families will be able to sing-along with the show in the comfort of their own living rooms.”
