Nickelodeon tops kids commercial channels

Nickelodeon UK was the most popular commercial kids channel on Sunday 30th March as it broadcast the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards and Orange Carpet pre-show.Nick-300

The Awards was watched by over 316,000 individuals (over 193,000 kids aged four to 15). It broadcast at 5:30pm and won average audiences of 175,800 individuals (113,700 kids) peaking at 269,000 individuals and making the broadcast the top show of the day across all commercial kids channels.*

During the airing of the Kids’ Choice Awards, the Orange Carpet pre-show and a new episode of Nickelodeon’s live-action sitcom Sam & Cat, Nickelodeon ranked the number one kids’ channel in the slot (4:30-7pm) with this strong afternoon performance contributing to a ratings result that saw Nickelodeon achieve prime position as the most popular commercial kids’ channel and kids’ network for the whole day.
