Buyers, trend-spotters and trade guests from 83 countries have already registered to attend the event.
The 113th North American International Toy Fair will take place from 13th to 16th February at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
“Though registration has been open for just a few weeks, the number of represented countries expected at Toy Fair has grown by 54% year-to-date,” said Marian Bossard, TIA’s SVP of global market events. “With nearly 30,000 visitors expected from around the world, the event is sure to be a whirlwind of energy, activity and product innovation.”
In total, nearly 4,700 buyers have pre-registered, including representatives from powerhouse retail outlets like Amazon.com, Target, Toys R Us and Walmart, with many more buyer registrants expected to pour in over the coming weeks. Licensors and entertainment executives from Disney, NBC Universal, Sesame Workshop, Warner Bros and WWE have also pre-registered for the show.
This year’s expansive show floor is expected to cover upwards of 408,264 net square feet of exhibit space, with 1,124 exhibitors gearing up to showcase hundreds of thousands of innovative and creative playthings.
