One Animation to open 15 Oddbods Family Entertainment Centres in China

One Animation has announced a strategic partnership with CMC, China’s leading entertainment, tech and consumer conglomerate.

The deal sees the first Oddbods Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) scheduled to open by Q3 2019 in the city of Xian, followed by other key cities including Chengdu and Shanghai.

The first five centres will be completed within the next five years. Each centre will feature bespoke Oddbods themed attractions, live character shows, themed restaurants, premiums and a complete retail proposition. Kids and families will have the opportunity to engage with the brand together in fun and unexpected ways characterised by the Oddbods brand.

The opening of the Oddbods Family Entertainment Centres across the region represents a further milestone for the development of the brand, which is now represented in 180 countries globally with 4.2b views on YouTube and 1b views in China alone, on key digital new media platforms.
