The deal will help expand Orchard Toys’ presence in the region by bringing its educational products to American and Canadian consumers.

The educational, games and jigsaw manufacturer Orchard Toys has confirmed a manufacturing and licensing agreement with Moose Toys to support its plans to expand the Orchard Toys Brand within the USA and Canada. Partnering with Moose Toys will ensure continued support of existing retail distribution as well as the development of major businesses within North America.

Moose Toys is looking to replicate the success Orchard Toys has seen in the UK by offering North American distribution through its US and Canadian infrastructure.

A range of Orchard Toys products have been localised by Moose Toys to ensure they are appropriate for the North American market and will be available in early 2022. Each product will be produced by Moose Toys to the expected quality of Orchard Toys and will be thoroughly tested to meet with the most stringent North American Compliance standards.

Simon Newbery, Orchard Toys managing director, said: “We’re really excited about this opportunity and feel there is enormous potential with Moose Toys to take the Orchard Toys brand and grow it further in this important region.”

“We’re beyond thrilled to partner with Orchard Toys to bring these fantastic, proven, educational products to children and their parents in the US,” added Ronnie Frankowski, CCO at Moose Toys. “Orchard Toys is globally regarded as one of the top manufacturers of games and jigsaws and has built deep, long-lasting equity with consumers, especially parents. This partnership is the perfect addition to our ever diversifying portfolio.”
