The Lion Guard magazine is due to hit shelves on 28th July.
The Lion Guard premiered in April 2016, and was the highest rated TV series launch ever on Disney Junior. To date, nearly a third of all children aged four to seven years old in the UK have tuned in to watch the series on TV.
Each issue will contain 36 pages of new adventure stories featuring the main character Kion and his group of friends on their journey to protect the Pride Lands and defend the Circle of Life. The magazine is packed full with puzzles, crafts, posters, competitions, a cover-gift and an interactive sticker sheet which can be used with the activities inside the magazine. The magazine will encourage imaginative play, early years learning and will show the importance of friendship and working as a team.
The Lion Guard Magazine has a packed schedule of retail promotional mechanics across all formats, including supermarkets, convenience and on the high street, bringing the new magazine to the front of shelves. It also has inclusion in Panini’s key children’s portfolio promotions in the grocery channel.
