Flying Toys’ Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition Quadricopter was chosen for The Lynx Apollo Final Challenge.
The LSA Live took place at Westfield White City, London on 13th-14th July 2013. Following 87,000 entries from the UK and Ireland, 250 space cadets completed a series of physical and mental challenges at LSA Live, to try to win one coveted place in space.
Congratulations go to the four finalists from LSA Live, who won the National Challenge by using an iPad Mini to fly a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition Quadricopter through a donut, and land on the plinth in the shortest possible time.
The winners will fly to the Global Space Camp in Florida, where the final selection will take place, together with other competitors from all over the world. The overall National Winner will win a space flight on the X-COR sub-orbital space vehicle, currently under development by X-COR Technologies.
The Flying Toys Team was proud to participate in this high-profile event, and provide the contestants with technical support.
