The new addition to Cheatwell Games’ range was a success at Toy Fair and Spring Fair, with pre-orders placed from both nationals and independent retailers.
To play, players must pick a card, roll the dice to see which of the five images they will be drawing (the sixth is a wildcard meaning they can choose). Players must then sketch the image whilst the nib of the pen slowly retracts before disappearing completely. Opponents need to guess what each other are drawing. If no-one guesses correctly then it’s time to Pass the Pen to the next player who continues the image.
Head of sales, Mark Jones, commented: “We had a strong inkling that this was going to be a hit, and this was confirmed when we could hear screams of laughter from people trying to sketch everything from famous British landmarks to colloquial sayings. Cheatwell is 30 years old this year – that’s a lot of experience to draw on when selecting new products that will copy the successes we’ve had with our flagship lines like Tension and Plop Trumps.”
Pass the Pen will be available from June 2016.
