The new puzzle series will feature illustrations from artist Martin Brown, along with jokes and facts.
Paul Lamond Games has unveiled a new series of fun and educational puzzles from the world’s bestselling children’s history book series at Autumn Fair this year.
The hugely successful Horrible Histories series, written by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2018. Since 1993, Horrible Histories has informed and entertained children using foul facts, wicked wit and deadly drawings to help children understand the human side of history. It’s history with the nasty bits left in.
The new 250-piece puzzle series, that will be available from September, feature some of the iconic drawings from Martin Brown along with jokes and facts. The jigsaws bring to life some of the favourite titles including Awful Egyptians, Rotten Romans, Terrifying Tudors and Vicious Vikings.
Richard Wells, managing director at Paul Lamond Games, commented: “Horrible Histories is an evergreen brand and loved by children of primary school age which is very much our marketplace. We are now in the countdown to Christmas which is a dominant period for games and puzzles, so we are very excited to be launching this new puzzle series from such a sought-after brand at such a key time.”
