This summer, Paul Lamond will launch the UK’s first Escape the Room Party Game that can be played in the comfort of the player’s own homes.
Escape the Room real-venue challenges are becoming one of the country’s fastest growing crazes.
Paul Lamond’s Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor will be the UK’s first Escape the Room style game and will be launched in June with further titles to be released later in the year.
Richard Wells, sales director of Paul Lamond Games, said: “This is a growing and exciting market. These games sit perfectly with our current portfolio and we are really looking forward to bring this style of party event to the UK market. The Mystery at the Stargazer’s Manor escape the room party game is for 3 to 8 players and will take approximately 90 minutes to play.”
The Escape the Room concept originated from the video gaming market and quickly moved into real venue challenges.
The games see players locked in a room with other participants where they have to use elements of the room to find clues, solve a series of puzzles and escape from the room in a set time limit. Room escaping gives players the opportunity to use their initiative, team work skills and intelligence.
