The magazine will launch in the UK in October 2014 and is based on the Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures, Skylanders Giants and Skylanders Swap Force videogames.
In the first deal of its kind for the publisher, Penguin will work to secure and manage licensees for the magazine as it takes its first step into magazine publishing. Penguin, who also has the rights to the Skylanders Universe books, has secured Immediate Media to produce the global magazine content and distribute the magazine in the UK.
Initially, the new magazine will only be sold in the UK and the first issue will launch in October 2014 with 13 issues published yearly.
